Kristen joined Van De Hey Financial Services during the summer of 2023 after moving on from a 26-year teaching career. Her passion for teaching and learning made the transition to a new industry seamless with skills in communication, problem-solving, and relationship building. These skills are put to use as she helps clients navigate the confusing world of Medicare and Marketplace. As she says, "I'm still teaching - just a different age bracket!"
Kristen is a licensed agent in Health, Accident, and Life Insurance in Wisconsin, and received her Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Education from Winona State University. She then went on to achieve her Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Walden University.
In her free time, Kristen enjoys being outdoors. Be it hiking the Rockies or canoeing the Wisconsin River, Kristen loves connecting with nature. Her two daughters, Hannah & Paige, have officially flown the coop, so it gives her more time to explore the world.
